My favorite subject

This semester my favorite subject is Infantile Imaginary.
In this class, we talk, argue and see different kinds of concepts about childhood. Also, we compare our opinions with psychological theories. In the class, we worked with recycled materials and we made puppets to apply what we studied with some children (other classmates brought their sons or daughter).  We didn't just play with them, but also we could see and understand how children work and play together. We saw how their concept of childhood and the reality was different from ours and in some cases, we saw that for kids, the concept of time, or weather, or the money, mean nothing, they just live the present.
Other things that we made, was a “Black Box” where we put something inside that for us represents how or what finishes with the childhood period and why. So, we explained with our words why we thought about that.
We also learnt about the way people think in general about childhood, and how this view's present in everything: on the Massive Media Communications, in our opinions, in the way that we see the society, etc.
I like this subject because it shows me a different way of seeing the childhood, the kids and how our prejudice (as an adult person) limits the way to see the reality.
